Frequently Asked Questions
Before you contact us, these resources may answer your question
Are you in charge of cybersecurity for your organisation? Have you been tasked with expanding security programs beyond IT? Does your organisation have OT (operational technology) assets or IoT (internet of things) assets which you should be monitoring? Guardian Community Edition is free tool which provides visibility into OT and IoT assets on your network. Users, researchers, students, security teams, OT managers, network admins, and more are encouraged to download Guardian Community Edition.
You have two options to set up Guardian Community Edition:
If you have a traffic capture available: Deploy to an available virtual machine and upload a PCAP to discover assets and generate a network map.
If you have access to your network switch/router/firewall: Connect a SPAN/mirror port to your Guardian Community Edition deployment to get real-time asset information and network topology.
We designed Guardian Community Edition features to help you get visibility into the OT and IoT assets in your network.
Virtual images are available for VMware and Hyper-V.
